Matron of Honor and Best Man

I wanted to take a moment to introduce our Matron of Honor and Best Man! We've asked them a few months ago, keeping in mind we'll need them along the way!

I've chosen my big sister, Jennifer, as my Matron of Honor. There is so much I could say about her. There have been so many moments in my life when I needed someone there for me and she was the one always by my side. She is my rock, cheerleader, therapist, and friend. I have been so blessed to have her in my life and I am so thankful she is part of my big day. I wouldn't want anyone else standing beside me as I marry the man of my dreams. I love you big sis!

On the other side of the alter, Steve chose his big brother, Mike, to be his Best Man. I haven't know Mike nearly as long as I've known my sister, but I have known him for 5 1/2 years. After all those years, I feel so comfortable saying that Mike is like a brother to me. We've been through (quite recently) some interesting times that we'll remember forever. Yes, he teases me on a constant basis :0), but I know I can always count on him. Thanks for being a part of our day Mike! Love you!

Save The Dates!

After many revisions and lots of critiques the save the dates are now finished being designed by yours truly. Just so you can get a visual... they are very calender-esque. Of course I put a little pizazz into it. The info is in a blue font that matches our wedding color on off white paper. We got them printed at Staples (believe it or not) and they came out beautifully! Now for the time consuming task of cutting them apart and corner punching each corner. YIKES! We're still looking for A2 envelopes in a royal blue color if any of you out there know where I can find some!!!

Thanks to everyone who took a look at these and helped me along the way. Special thanks to Steve and my boss, Joe, for having the most input.

Vendors, Vendors and More Vendors

Well it's June 4th and ALL of our vendors are booked!! Man, we're on a roll.

Photographer:
Picking a photographer was really important to me. Since I'm a graphic designer having a photographer that will allow us full rights to our photos was a must! Ed Krisiak of Steel City Photography was our perfect choice. He was highly recommended from a friend, who had the highest praise. After finally meeting with Ed we decided he was the perfect choice. Not only is his work fantastic, he is responsibly priced and very accommodating. http://steelcityphotography.zenfolio.com/

DJ:
Steve handled this part mostly, but I'm very excited about our DJ, Todd Frederick. Very professional and I have full trust that he will make our evening magical!  Everything is online and convenient. I am very happy with Steve's choice :0) http://www.silversound.com/

Cake:
Fortunately, the cake comes with our reception hall!! Yay!!! Can't wait for the taste test, YUM!

Church:
We decided to get married in Steve's church, St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He has belonged to this church since he was a little boy and it seems only appropriate to get married there. I've moved from church to church throughout the years and I feel it best to marry in a church where at least one of us feels at home. The church is also beautiful and will be the perfect setting for pictures!

Welp, that's all I have for now! We're about to print our save the dates (super ahead of schedule, but less stress later!) I've designed them and I'll be posting pictures of the printed version later!
